About Us

I’m Anusha, the founder and designer behind Huzoor. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and true love for design. I started my first fashion label when I was 17, and after all these years it feels natural to return to what I love.

In Ramadan 2025, I started sketching a tote. Every year I bring a tote to the mosque and to community events, but this time I wanted to make my own. I wrote down words in English and Urdu that resonated with me. Sabr stood out, because patience sits at the heart of Ramadan. I included crescent and star motifs, Mughal arches and calligraphy into the design and after about ten drafts, the Sabr Tote was finally real. I got them printed and made a few extras, which were eventually sold out by my friends and family.

The exhilarating design experience reminded me of why I love to make things. There is nothing like creating something personal and seeing it resonate with others. Where words fail, design bridges the gap.

Huzoor is more than a name. The name itself is a noun that means "sir" or "madam." It's a term of respect used in the South Asian community in response to someone of high honor. We translate that honor into authentic work being done on our end that ensures that every piece of ours that you wear has a presence worthy of respect and admiration.

Every piece carries a part of our roots, from Urdu and Arabic calligraphy to desi motifs reimagined for today. Huzoor is more than a clothing label, its purpose is to help people feel confident and seen. Our themes explore social justice, nostalgic Urdu phrases, intricate design and quality that lasts. Whether you're in Karachi, California, or anywhere in between, Huzoor is yours.

We create pieces that tell stories, spark conversation, and connect a community that refuses to blend in. This is just the beginning, and we welcome you to the beginning of intentional streetwear.
